The Church Village Fête 2019

It was a hot day packed with fun for all ages. The outstanding atmosphere was very apparent. Every one said it felt just like the Fêtes of older days. Mr Adrian Clements, Head Teacher of our village school, opened the Fête and Mrs Liz Hitchins, Chairman of Brixton Parish Council made a welcome and compassionate speech about the community of Brixton coming together. Commentator Extraordinaire, Reverend Trevor Filtness, did the announcements with wit and humour. The organisers wish to give their thanks to all the stall workers and especially to those who helped to set-up and dismantle the Fête.
