A Parish Plan for Brixton 2012

On the 7th March Brixton Parish Council adopted 'A Parish Plan for Brixton'. The plan was drawn up after analysis of the questionnaires which went to very household in February 2010. From the 1st April 2012, the plan and all the supporting survey information can be accessed from the Brixton Village website www.brixton-village.co.uk. Paper copies of the plan will available in the Post Office. At the May meeting the Parish Council will agree an Action Plan based on the on 'the way forward' outlined in the Parish Plan.

The Parish Council would like to thank everyone who helped in the distribution and collection of the questionnaires and all parishioners who took the time to complete and return the questionnaires to provide such a rich source of information on which to plan for the future of Brixton. I would also like to thank those people who have helped along the way with their time and expertise as this has been a big project to complete - they are Alex Whish, Alistair Macpherson, Graham Searle, Jim Eccles, Julie Eccles, Elaine Tapper, Brenda Huxtable, Martyn Oates and the Editors of 'Brixton Magazine'.

Liz Hitchins, Chairman, Brixton Parish Council.
